Comic Book Heroes Cabinet Pack for AGE of Joy
A downloadable cabinet pack
This is a cabinet pack for AGE of Joy for Meta Quest 2 and later.
AGE of Joy is a Virtual Reality experience in which you can have your own arcade filled with the arcade cabinets you know and love. You can just admire your arcade or if you add in some MAME ROMS you can virtually insert a coin and play them.
This cabinet pack contains the following arcade games based on comic book heroes:
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Konami - 1989
MAME ROM: tmnt2po.zip - Batman
Atari Games - 1990
MAME ROM: batman.zip
- X-Men (4 Player Variant)
Konami -1992
MAME ROM: xmen2p.zip - Superman
Taito - 1988
MAME ROM: superman.zip
Each cabinet was assembled to closely mimic the look of these arcade game cabinets when found in arcades 30+ years ago. Attract mode video included for each.
To use there you must have version 0.2.0 or higher of AGE of Joy by Curifab

cant you make versions with roms in them? i cant for the life of me get these working with roms and everything
Two issues with that:
1. The AGE of Joy cabinet file format does not support that type of bundling
2. Distributing the ROMs themselves is illegal under international copyright law, and I am pretty sure Itch.io would not allow it.
You might be able to find what you need by searching for the MAME 2003 reference set using a search engine like the one found at Archive.org.
Also, make sure the ROMs are in the "downloads" directory and not the "cabinets" directory. They should remain zipped.
